The Pantone Colour of the Year is now in its 25th iteration. The Pantone Colour Institute, a diverse team under the lead of Leatrice Eiseman presents each year a particular colour hue to influence design over the coming year. Far more than a mere styling exercise, the Colour of the Year is meant to reflect the mood of society and the global cultural climate, the Zeitgeist if you will. For this year you can expect Mocha Mousse to crop up everywhere from fashion to make-up, advertising, movies, you name it.
Iberian Lighting will be able to create your bespoke lampshades using the Colour of the Year offerings from any number of fabric suppliers. From luxurious Pongees Duppion Silks on large and small shades to Prestigious Textiles Velours on larger shades or man-made silks (for those sensitive to the plight of the silkworms), offering plenty of choice for the style conscious.
Here at Iberian Lighting, we understand the need for choice and applaud those who express their individuality. That is why we make every single shade to order. By not carrying any stock we do not contribute to excessive waste in the wake of fashion.
The adage of ‘They don’t make them like they used to’ whilst certainly applicable to us, using the latest technologies does not apply to the quality of our lampshades. As far as quality is concerned, we still make our lampshades to last. Our design team will help you create stylish lampshades that stand the test of time, whatever your colour choice.
