We collaborated with Caroline Cinerey on this special project. The goal was to create four very large feature pendant shades. The look was meant to be a bit Art Deco, but we couldn't use the usual brass and glass as it would be too heavy.
The big task was making fabric shades in a style we'd never tried before. We had to be super careful to make sure they could hold a fancy steel cut-out over a fabric-covered light cover while still being easy to fix if needed. The final lights are pretty impressive - they're almost 1 metre tall, with two tiers. The top part is 1.2 metres wide, and the bottom is 1 metre. It was a tricky job, but we're chuffed with how they turned out!
